Thank You Doesn’t Seem Enough

I have been overwhelmed in the last week with all the support and love I’ve received from 5 amazing bloggers.

I was nominated for the Beautiful Blogger Award by Shanthini at Free Spirit Food and Tanushree at Tanushree’s Delicacies.  Thank you so much for reading my little blog and your support.  Please do visit these 2 wonderful blogs.

Shanthini grew up in South Africa and now lives in Australia (yay, another fellow Aussie) and as a result has some amazingly varied recipes on her blog.  She’s just recently blogged about some delicious looking Finnish pies!

Tanushree currently lives in Mumbai and is a hopeless foodie (don’t we all know the feeling!).  Tanhushree used to run a catering business and has featured many beautiful Indian dishes on her blog.

I was also nominated for the Liebster Award by my dear #blogsister Sadie at Sadie’s Nest and the lovely Claudia at Old Country Girl.

I have raved about Sadie’s blog in the past, which is full of wonderful recipes for cakes, cookies, lasagne (so much more)…and snippets from her heart.  Please do stop by to say hi to Sadie.

Claudia grew up in Germany and now lives in America and features recipes from her German grandmother on her blog.  Such a wonderful way to chronicle recipes, memories and the love of family.  Your baby daughter will grow up to read your blog with such fondness! 🙂

I also received a nomination from Sandhya at Indfused for the Blogger Recognition Award.  Sandhya grew up in India and now lives in America.  Sandhya teaches Indian and Indian fusion cooking and her mum, an accomplished cook herself actually published a couple of cookbooks!! Sandhya has blogged about many wonderful Indian dishes but keeps it uncomplicated and she’s always got a tip to keep the dishes healthier and lighter and we all appreciate great tips like that. 🙂

Ladies, I don’t know what to say….but THANK YOU, THANK YOU AND THANK YOU again.

I’m still amazed and secretly delighted (ok…clearly not so secret now!;P) that anyone reads my little blog.  I started blogging 2 months ago and it’s been an absolute delight to meet so many amazing bloggers along the way.  I have come across amazing recipes, touching stories from the heart and “met” a lot of great people.

I’m going to cheat a little as in honesty this week has been chaotic with 2 sick girls.  This is probably over sharing….but on Wednesday my 6 year old vomited after a coughing fit and then my 3 year old vomited while my 6 year year old was being sick.  Yes, it was synchronised!! Suffice to say, it’s been a tough week for both the girls, me and hubby.

I apologise for not including my answers here to the great questions posed by the lovely bloggers that have nominated me, but I will in time go back to your blogs and answer them personally.  I hope that’s ok!! 🙂

I’m also going to cheat and save my nominations from the various awards for another day (otherwise this blog post will never get out! Please forgive me!), but please, please, please do go visit the wonderful blogs mentioned above!  You won’t regret it and you’ll make wonderful friends in the process.
